TOK'S TEAM INUGURAL CHAMPIONS
Congratulations to Tok's Team from Kuripuni Tavern, Masterton taking out the inaugural Quizmaster Championship Throne at Charlton's Silverstream on Tuesday November 22. 14 teams from six venues around Wellington and Wairarapa lined up in what was expected and turned out to be a very competitive night. Named after a team member, who passed away earlier this year, the team of Makoura College teachers held of some spirited challenges by 6.5 points. The always competitive 'Coalition of the Swilling' from Upper Hutt Cossie took second, with (Insert Name) from Thistle Inn and Saints and Sinners from Charlton's sharing third.
Upper Hutt Cossie won the closely fought 'Best Venue', with Chartons and Kuripuni Tavern equal second. 4 Non-Blondes from the Lifeboat Eastbourne took out the Girls' Challenge.
